We invite you to attend High Holiday services with us, in person and via Zoom, and see and feel the spiritual as well as musical gifts that Rabbi Margot intertwines in her services. In her sermons she also will give you many thoughts and information to absorb on your own. For those of us who have been with her for the past three years, she is truly a gift and an inspiration at the High Holyday time.

Rabbi Margo Hughes-Robinson
Rabbi Margo Hughes-Robinson is so excited and grateful to be joining Beth El for the High Holidays for a third year in a row! Based in Brooklyn, she serves as the Executive Director at Partners for Progressive Israel. Rabbi Hughes-Robinson received her rabbinic ordination from the Jewish Theological Seminary in 2021, where she also earned an MA in Midrash.
A New Yorker by birth, she grew up in communities all over the United States before attending Clark University, where she graduated with degrees in Theatre and in Jewish Studies. Margo is also a proud alumna of the Conservative Yeshiva Lishma Fellowship and the Hartman Rabbinic Student Seminar. While studying at JTS, she completed a two-year tenure as a Marshall T. Meyer Rabbinic Fellow at B’nai Jeshurun in New York, where she developed new programming for multifaith and multi-heritage families, and oversaw the conversion to Judaism program.
