Membership at Beth El

AT BETH EL, WE BELIEVE WE ARE BETTER TOGETHER. THAT IS WHY…

We make it possible. Beth El’s dues are affordable! Membership fees are considerably less than most area synagogues’…and no one is turned away for lack of funds.

We make it personal. Our clergy, Rav Jesse Nagleberg, is as committed to our members as she is to rich and meaningful ritual observance. Our GEMACH Caring Committee reaches out to the ill and homebound. Social action is an important element of all Beth El activities. Our lay leaders are dedicated to offering weekly Kabbalat Services as well as Torah services at least twice a month and twice a month we offer an extremely interactive Torah study.

We make it meaningful, Beth El’s services are informal and inspiring. Questions and discussion are welcome, and music and singing encourage full participation. Interfaith family members are warmly welcomed at all Beth El services and events. Our siddur features Hebrew, transliterations, translations, and inspiring and educational notes so everyone can participate in our services.

We make it social. Cultural events, such as artist talks, concerts and comedy, game and movie nights provide many opportunities for socializing. Sisterhood and Men’s Club create wonderful opportunities for socializing while supporting Beth El.

We make it delicious. Delicious frequent Shabbat dinners and dessert-laden social events are highlights of our congregational activities.
